Fueling the Fire in Thailand

On July 1-14, Tom traveled to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where he held a week-long seminar on evangelism at the Living Word Ministries International Bible School with 185 hungry people, including students, staff, evangelists and pastors. He then traveled to the mountainous area to the north to evangelize in the tribal villages. On his last evening in the mountains, he preached at Schamit Vutiya (The Friendship School) in Ban Den to over 200 residential students. This school has experienced an outpouring of the Spirit in recent years, so a number of the students were quite receptive and hungry. Tom spoke on "The Call of God" and many of the young people flooded to the front (above) to dedicate their lives 100 percent to God. The Christians in Thailand may be few (less than 1 percent of the population), but there is no lack of fervor and hunger for the living God.
